In-home licensed daycare looking to hire 1 daycare assistant to provide quality assistance and care for children in a fun, loving and safe environment. The best people to add to our daycare family would have the flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, be a good communicator, be able to adapt to changes, step outside of your comfort zone, show initiative and be a quick learner. The most qualified person should be able to multi-task and be able to pay attention to details. Assistants help teachers and ensure an acceptable adult-to-child ratio . The daycare assistant position is an entry-level position.

Job Requirements:

*Current or previous childcare experience preferred, not required

*Posses valid photo ID

*Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination

* Have 1 year minimum experience

*Minimum 18 years of age

*Have reliable transportation

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care
Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children
Help children keep good hygiene
Change the diapers of infants and toddlers
Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allow children to learn about the world and explore interests
Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents
Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest
Assist is daily sanitizing and disinfection of home
